Description
Students apply advanced quantitative reasoning skills to solve real-world problems. This course emphasizes modelling skills, statistical methods, and probability to create, analyze, and communicate solutions.
Course Student Learning Outcomes
1: Apply basic quantitative logic, including deduction and induction, to contextualized situations
2: Use spreadsheets to display and visualize data in order to perform basic calculations
3: Use concepts from basic statistics, including descriptive and inferential techniques, and probability to inform decision making and interpretation of current events
