My project will be very informative of my aspiring career, as a civil and corporate lawyer, for people who may not be too knowledgeable of the career. People need to have an understanding on the different aspects of civil law because a lot of people think it’s straightforward and self explanatory, even I thought the same until I did research on it and I got a more in-depth idea. Corporate law is slightly more self explanatory because you are a lawyer who represents corporations but there are some details that go unvoiced sometimes. I will be using sources such as law.lsu.edu, law.cornell.edu, and some wikipedia information. I like to use the websites of law schools because they give more in-depth information since they’re also promoting their law school for people to attend. This project truly helps me to get an even deeper understanding of the career that I want to sustain for most of my life but it’ll also help me to become more comfortable and confident it the steps needed to get there. For this project to be a success, I need to gather all of my information diligently, ensure the information I have will be helpful to my audience, make sure the information is understandable for any type of audience from a child trying to decide their career path to an adult who may be trying to do the same thing or for adults who just want to have a better understanding of the career. Starting this week, I will gather the information. Next week, I will filter through the information to see what and what I don’t need in the presentation. The weeks to follow will consist of me getting my deliverables ready and requesting for you to review my project and adding any feedback advised by you before the due date.
