This resource mainly talks about how medication errors occur, why they occur and why they are not reported. It focuses on the reporting aspect of medication errors and questions what the estimated percentages are for medication errors reported annually. And as nurses are the last checkpoint of handling medication before they are administered, their perception of medication errors is highly valid. This helps with bringing the medical field one step to safe medication administration and lower the number of medication administration errors that occur on a daily basis.
