Using the information provided in our course learning materials and based upon your own interpretations of the assigned Modern poems this week, I want you to create your own Modern-esque poem.

First, you want to create a poem that has characteristics of Modernism. This part of the assignment should be at least six lines in length.

Then, you want to explain how the poem represents the expectations of Modern poetry, especially in terms of style, form, tone, and/or subject matter. Be specific in your explanation about what characteristics Modern poetry has and how you used those characteristics in your own poem. This part of the assignment should be at least six sentences in length.
