Project management plan presentation Requirements: The purpose of this assessment is to identify, understand and manage work-related risks. You are required to: 1) Choose a sector (eg construction, health, hospitality, retail, local government, etc.); 2) select one particular potential risk (e.g. shortage of skilled labour, exposure to hazardous chemicals or dust, working at heights, contaminated soil, etc.); and 3) discuss how the risk should be managed. The report should contain: Introduction: A summary of what your topic is about, why it is important and how you intend to structure your report. Description/Definition: Using current research, explain what is meant by managing risks. The next paragraph should provide a brief overview of the sector’s characteristics (e.g. its contribution to GDP, the number of employees, etc.) Identify one significant risk in your chosen sector and state why you have chosen it. You should include a discussion on what research there is on your chosen risk. Recommendations: Outline what the sector will need to do in order to manage the risks and a list of recommendations that the sector needs to consider/ implement. Conclusion: A summary of the main points. Presentation of report: Your report will have been processed through Turnitin. Also the presentation of your work should be: 1) Use 12-point Times Roman font; 2) 1 ½ spacing’ APA referencing and a reference list required. Ensure to correctly reference all information in your report Proof-read before you submit your work Appendices: Bibliography, etc. (NOT INCLUDED IN THE WORD COUNT).
