Write a personal statement in an essay format to include the following information:

1)Your educational objective(s);

2) Your transfer and/or career plans;

3) Your need for scholarship/financial assistance;

4) Campus, family, and community activities/commitments;

5) Honors/Awards you have received;

6) Obstacles/financial hardships you have endured in your pursuit of your education;

7) Any additional information that you would like the committee to know about you.

Essays will be evaluated on

1) grammar and composition,

2) statement of financial need (when required for award), and

3) community engagement, academic achievement and challenges encountered in pursuing your academic goals.
