After you have complete one round (you are welcome to do another if you made a wrong turn early on), write
up a one page reflection about your experience. The reflection should be in paragraph form (not
question/answer, question/answer) but should cover the following prompts:
What were some of the toughest choices for you?
Did you feel like you had to sacrifice items for yourself or your for child?
Did you have make decisions that didn’t align with your personal values (stealing, engaging in hit and run,
leaving a child unattended, ignoring someone’s important needs, etc.).
Do you have a better understanding of why some families make the decisions they do?
Do you feel you have more empathy for those in poverty as a result of this activity, why or why not?
