Briefly define technical debt and then provide an example scenario of how and why it would be applied to some IT product (e.g. application or system). Responses must include a strong rationale in business terms as to why it would be prudent to move forward in this manner, along with an explanation of potential drawbacks that might be realized as a result of the decision for the team to take on techical debt.
