Exploration and agreement of the brief from 1st meeting with client Client – Atelier Kitoko Ltd represented by Managing Director Benjamin Mubiayi VGC – Victory Group Consulting What is the problem(s) or issue that the client needs to address? VGC – we have understood from the problem statement provided, that you believe to have a problem related to raw material price and another related to expansion to new markets to solve the problem of Covid. Client – yes. The raw material and cost of labor prices have increased in the past year which leaves no other choice but to increase the price of final product. In terms of product, I’ve been offering through Atelier Kitoko my own brand Kitoko tailoring services to the luxury market. We are trying to move from the Luxury market to High End market, one step down, also moving the service from face to face to online. And although I am a presence in the online environment, I believe there is more to be done in that sector. Why is s/he focusing on this problem? VGC – do you believe that these are the actual problem that the company is facing? Client – as per our previous conversations I have reasons to believe that this might be one of the problems. The marketing strategies that the consultancy team brought up made me reconsider and see that my company might have other problems as well. Further background information about the company/competitors/customers etc, relevant to the problem VGC – who do you believe to be your main competitor? Client – our company is focusing on delivering the quality of bespoke tailoring to established clients with reasonable price and provide high end bespoke personal brand items. Moving the service to High end market my competitors are well established tailors in London like Hockerty and Oliver Wicks. Key deliverables/What would be a ‘successful’ outcome for the client, by the end of the project? VGC – what would you consider successful at the end of current consulting campaign? Client – increased number of unique visitors on the page, good presence on social-media platforms and increase in sales. Concerns/limitations raised by the client (e.g. costs, client availability) VGC – as per our previous communications we would like to know if there are other concerns related to the price of the consultancy report, availability of both parties involved, or other problems not yet stated. Client – as per our first conversation I understood that no fees will be charged as this is a University project. Availability will be communicated over the phone and e-mail. No other problems at this time. Concerns raised by the consulting team VGC – at the time of the meeting the Consultancy Group has no concerns as the research has not started. Client – No comments. What actions were agreed and what are the deadlines for these? VGC – the client will be notified about the progress of the research, task distribution of the team members and a final deadline Client – I understood that I will be communicated all the findings and presented the report prior to deadline set by the University.
