Global company analysis (3500 words) You are required to produce a report discussing a multinational company of your choice, based on a provided set of MNC network data. You will need to notify the module leader of your company choice by reporting it via Moodle (the link will be made available later during the term). Marks will be reduced if no reporting is received. The most important factor for you to consider is that you are expected to analyse the selected company in depth. Please note that for a meaningful organisational analysis to be performed you cannot rely simply on the company’s website, but are expected to integrate the information available there with other sources (e.g. academic journals, financial press, industry reports). The use of a wide range of databases and library resources will be rewarded (see the marking criteria and the rubric scorecard which will be made available on Moodle before the beginning of the module). The report expects you to use theories and concepts covered during the module. Ideally you can build the different sections of the report as the module evolve, every week applying the concepts learned in the classroom to the case you selected. As the module will use different cases, you will have examples to follow to develop your case study analysis. The areas you need to cover in your report are presented below, together with suggested word count. Introduction (600 words). Introduce the company you selected and justify your choice. The justification has to be provided reflecting on the relevance of the company for the issues debated in the module, and not purely on personal interest. The organisational environment (600 words).
