The following data presents the number of nonconformities observed in 10 consecutive samples of 100 brass rings. The inspection unit is defined as 100 rings and thickness is being measured for them. Sample No Number of nonconformities 1 34 2 44 3 22 4 55 5 39 6 50 7 43 8 38 9 41 10 38 Construct a control chart for nonconformities from the data provided in the table above. Determine if the process is under control or not and comment on the control chart with emphasis on the emergence of any patterns or issues.
