Looking at eachpart of the research paradigm, you will be required to apply your knowledge in four assessments that areimportant and related to doing business research, namely the topic approval, a literature review, a researchproject report, and a reflective journal. These assessments are spread over the duration of the semester thatcaptures your thoughts engaging in research.Drawing on their passion for research, your lecturers will guide you through this unit, explaining in detail whatis required for each assessment, and how all assessments come together in the context of the researchparadigm. They will discuss with you suitable research topics that you can investigate, where to find relevantliterature for your literature review, how to identify and formulate meaningful, succinct research questions,and which research methodology is suitable for your project. In all of this, your engagement and collaborationis imperative as this will be your research topic.Unit Learning OutcomesOn successful completion of this subject you will have the ability to identify and define a business researchproject, conduct a literature review, design an appropriate research methodology, and write a research report.Learning Outcomes:1. Be aware that significant similarity scores will be treated with suspicion of academic misconduct;if over 40%, the assignment will be referred to Degree Convenor; if over 70%, the assignment will be referredto Dean: Academic. All work submitted must be your own, original work. Any submitted assignment that isnot the student’s own original work will evoke a grade of ZERO and a report of academic misconduct.
