They should be typed into a Word or Open Office file, and uploaded to Canvas by the due date, April 2nd, by Midnight. These should use standard margins (1 inch) and standard type size (12 point). They will be graded on thoroughness, clarity, paper organization and proper grammar and usage. The essays should contain a brief introduction and conclusion (the questions themselves will give you the format for this). Don’t waste time with historical or tangential discussion; just say what you will (in the intro) and have (in the conclusion) accomplished or argued.I will be happy to read drafts of your essays. Moreover, feel free to read your essay out loud to others or to yourself–this will help you to catch errors, unclarity or incompleteness you would miss otherwise. Questions: 1.
