Assess and judge strategic inputs, including the external and internal environment, strategic mission and strategic intent. Create a strategy including synthesising appropriate elements of business-level strategy, competitive dynamics, corporate-level strategy, cooperative strategies and international strategies.
Apply selected theory and strategy frameworks to analyse practical strategy related issues in organisational contexts. Examine the relationship between strategic inputs, strategic actions (formulation, implementation and evaluation) and strategic outcomes to design a strategic plan.
Assessment 2
You need to critically develop findings in order to identify and develop an appropriate strategy for our case study organisation ( https://impossiblefoods.com/ ) (Links to an external site.)
You are required to: Analyse the organisation’s current generic strategy and discuss how well this is aligned to the forces operating in the external environment and whether or not the organisation has appropriate resources and capabilities to support its current strategy.
From this, you are required to determine the most appropriate generic strategy for the case study organisation moving forward. Develop a proposal for the case study organisation to ensure they are able to compete successfully in the Australian market over the next 3 years.
This proposal needs to be aligned with the generic strategy previously outlined. This proposal needs to be supported by substantial research and the application of appropriate strategic management theory. Justify your choice of a proposal using appropriate strategic management theory to provide a well-developed argument to support your proposal.
