Project Option 1: Leaders comparison and contrast Purpose
This is an opportunity to examine and evaluate leadership approaches. In the process, you will also gain further insight about what is important to you, and what is not as it pertains to leadership.
Requirements
Interview at least two leaders. You will conduct AT LEAST TWO progressive interviews (minimum of 2 hours) with each leader over a period ofweeks. Interview preparation is key in this activity to gain the insight required to investigate a deep dive into your chosen leaders’ leadership practice. Then, you will write and submit an 8-page (double-spaced) paper focusing on the following:
1.Introduce each leader, and why you chose them. (Please limit this introduction to no more than one page) (2 marks. 20)
2.Discuss each leader’s personal philosophy of leadership? Here you will discuss (compare and contrast) the findings from your interviews with each leader. The interview’ questions must be ipqlqdgd in an appendix at the end of your report. (5 marks. 20)
3.Analyze and evaluate whether each leader’s leadership philosophy aligns (or not) with the Topics identified in the Readings List. Focus on leadership roles, not management duties. Identify and apply a minimum of three (3) unit topics as outlined on the Readings List (e.g., self-awrareness, credibility, etc.) to support your answer, and integrate specific examples that you gathered from your interview findings with each leader. In this section, you are required to include relevant and specific references to the text and/or other course resources. (Instructor may indicate an expected minimum number of specific references).

4.What have you learned about yourself from this experience that will enhance your leadership potential, practice? Why? (This is about self-awareness and a focus on internal learning. Do not write about what you have learned about leadei’ship, but rather what you learned abaatyoursejf as a^ you develop your personal leadership practice. (5 marks 20)
5.You must have the signed, written consent of the leaders you chos t prior to beginning the interview activity. Include this consent with your paper when it is submitted.
6.Include a signed (by you and yourleaders) time log of yourinterview’meetings.
7.Include the list of interview’ questions used in #2 above in the appendix.
