As part of your learning, you will research innovative/start-up projects and trends with relevance to one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This will provide you with insights into how trends and innovation influence entrepreneurial activities and can contribute to one or more SDGs. For assignment 1, you are required to research and choose a new and recent (last two years) innovation/start-up project as well as associated relevant trends. The project should be a new or advanced business, product, service, or process that represents aspects of innovation and contributing to at least one of the SDGs. In relation to the chosen project, you need to evaluate and discuss the identified relevant trends and how the project is responding to them (or maybe even starting a trend). Furthermore, you have to evaluate and discuss what kind of innovation the new project is representing.
