Que Pasa, Latinoamerica? Discussion Board Posts/Responses (25%) In what ways does history help us to understand and question present developments in the region? Five times over the course of the semester, students are expected to write and submit a Discussion Board post based on an article, radio report, television clip, tweet, or some other media that addresses an issue in modern-day Latin America. After choosing their piece and uploading a link to the media element to the class Discussion Board, students will write a minimum 200-word reflection that provides some historical context for the piece and/or raises questions about how Latin American history might help explain the development of the issue.
