LO 3. Utilising modern technologies and electronic resources to support information retrieval,data analysis for effective marketing and communication.
LO 5. Develop independent lines of argument supported by evidence from a range of researchsources to critique relevant literature, case studies, communication campaigns, and information, and challenge viewpoints, ideas and concepts;
LO 6. Critically appraise the challenges of cross-cultural communication, and demonstrate a systematic understanding of the strategic, interpersonal and psychological aspects of negotiations through effective negotiating in a professional context and manages conflict.
Details of the task In pairs or clusters of no more than 4, students will pitch a project Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project idea which will support both internal marketing as well as the public perception of the brand to a senior manager / board member for no longer than 10 minutes. The proposal needs to accommodate stakeholder relations and state any assumptions and scenarios (for example cost implications) of the project.
The proposal needs to be supported by a 1000 word individual document which will address the rationale and added value behind the project, as well as the scope and intended marketing impact of its delivery.
You can place your pitch within an existing organization (as an intrapreneurship) and your write up should address:
a) A Macro / Micro analysis
b) Uniqueness – Product / Service (USP)
c) Stakeholder Relations
d) Intended Marketing effect of the project
e) A personal reflection on your preparation and team effort.
You have been asked to produce a report. It should contain the following:
• Appropriate coversheet (as attached in this document
• Title Page, including the given title in full.
• Contents Page
• Introduction
• Main body, which should also be organised under appropriate headings.
• Conclusion
• Appendices, which should be numbered.
