3.0. Additional Requirements
Help users find the fastest way to their destination to reduce the risk of getting infected on their way.
Notify users the current status of their destination, for instance the visitors flow rate and the maximum capacity of their destination.
Create a section where users can share what they did every day, and allow them to comment on others’ posts.
Provide recipes of healthy food.
Establish a chat community, you can chat with strangers with the same needs, and make new friends online.
Organize and provide links to some useful online shopping platforms, so that users can shop at home and buy what they need.
Some users will be in a bad mood in isolation at home. Can provide some jokes or interesting short videos to keep users in a good mood.
Some users have pets at home and can plan a safe route, which can make it easier for them to walk the dog.
Repost some articles from other websites, such as what can be done at home. To help users better spend their time at home.
4.0. Analysis/Reflection
Background
At the beginning of 2020, Covid-19 was discovered and it’s spreading rapidly around the world. Under the influence of the epidemic, many cities began to lockdown. Under such a background, a lot of businesses and entertainment venues have been restricted, so most people’s lives have been affected.
Justifications for Decisions
Our group is currently developing a new app to provide convenience for people’s life during the lockdown. Our app is designed to facilitate the planning and booking of events and events during the COVID-19 pandemic. To gather information, our team has created surveys and put them in our own social circles. We decided to build the app mainly to focus on people between the ages of 21 and 30 based on the responses we have. Because younger users have more energy to spend their free time and they are more comfortable using new apps.
The app should allow users to plan or join events/activities under current safety rules. The safety rules might be updated by local authorities, so this app needs to notify users if anything has been updated.
From survey responses, we decided to add a section that allows users to share their lives under Covid-19 and comment on other users’ posts. This is another way to know other people. Another section of cooking recipes is also essential. Most people cook at home because they are concerned that going to the restaurant may get infected. Another requirement from the interviewees is that they hope to know the current status of their destinations and the shortest way there. This is because they want to minimize the risk of getting infected.
