Delivery Stores

Business Description

The concept shift in the business environment has created the establishment of eCommerce companies that make the interaction between sellers and buyers faster. Most people view products and make orders online to be delivered to their doorsteps. While this can be seen as an efficient way of conducting business, there is a need to develop stores that will; enable buyers to obtain their products (Al-Nsour & Al-Somili, 2019). Logistics companies are playing a critical role in connecting the producers and the customers. The commitment of logistics companies to enhance efficient services sometimes has been hindered by failure to locate the exact address of the consumers.

For this reason, there is a need to establish stores in various towns where the customers can pick their items, or they can organize to be delivered by the people from the store. This proposal seeks to establish a store that connects logistics companies and customers to increase convenience in providing products. First, I am thinking of setting the first store in Austin, Texas, United States.

Market Need

In the recent past, there have been bad reviews on the services offered by most logistics firms because there is less coordination and delivery of goods and services and achieving the desired satisfaction of customers. Customers have blamed the logistics companies for failing to deliver the right quality ordered online, and they do not accept to return or make changes to the delivered product. The customers have also reported unnecessary delays of products hence affecting the utility of the products (Spinelli & Adams, 2016). The logistics management system enhances both time and place utility. Place utility involves delivering the product where it is required. In contrast, time utility ensures that the customer receives the product at the right time for the customer to use. Delivery stores are essential to allow the customers to receive their items conveniently and ensure that the consequences can be offered at the right time.

Customers

The target customers are logistics companies, consumers who purchase products online, and online marketers who wish to deliver products. The main aim of establishing the delivery stores is to ensure that the consumer can pick their items conveniently and ensure that the logistics companies have someone liable for any damage arising from the delivered products. Creating delivery stores improves customers’ satisfaction when purchasing products from well-known stores (Rasoli et al., 2021). In reverse logistics, store management links the consumers with suppliers to ensure no inconvenience on either the trader or the consumer. The project will be efficient for the supplier and consumer because the supplier can deliver products for several consumers to one place. In contrast, the consumers can pick their products with convenience.

Delivery of Products to the final consumer

The business opportunity is viable, especially in the modern business environment where the consumers have changed from purchasing products from shops to ordering products online. Consumers always desire situations where products can be delivered to their places without them having to move. In product damage, the store manager should engage with the supplier to assist the consumer. Establishing delivery stores also create a logistics structure that aims to reduce the complexity of moving products from the supplier’s warehouse to the final Consumer (Spinelli & Adams, 2016). Establishing stores reduces the costs incurred by the company in delivering the products to the customers. The project makes sense to the customers because it creates flexibility in providing items and reduces the time that suppliers could use to find the consumers’ location within the city.

There is no specific age bracket for the consumers as everyone has the potential of using our services. Organizations also form part of the consumers as they may require a location to deliver items efficiently for a particular town. Establishing a delivery store in the city also allows consumers to obtain other products as they pick their items. The delivery stores should require little capital to start because it only requires space and setting facilities to enhance the faster movement of products through the system. The operations in the store may include sorting of products, recording the products, and communicating to the consumers to pick their products at their convenient time.

Establishing the product aims to solve the problem of let delivery and dissatisfaction of the consumers when purchasing products online. It seeks to deliver items to the consumers at the required time and link the consumers with the suppliers to ensure that the supplier response t the consumer’s queries in reverse logistics. The delivery store is established at a specific point to make it easier for the consumers to obtain their products as soon as they arrive in the city. The delivery store will be mandated to receive the products from logistics companies and organize the final delivery of products to the consumers (Rasoli et al., 2021). It aims to reduce time and inconvenience when the suppliers go through locating the consumer’s address and ensuring and communicating when the items are received at the delivery stores. The delivery stores establish an excellent customer care system that ensures that the customers can rely on the company when expecting their products. The stores should install a tracking system that monitors the movement of the product from the supplier and communicate to the consumer the estimated time that they will receive the item.

The uniqueness of the Business

Delivery stores create an efficient means of delivering items to the consumers. It will link the logistics company or the supplier to the consumer and ensure that the consumer receives the item they order within the correct time projected by the company. It is expected that the store will be able to install a tracking system that will ensure that the items are monitored from the time the supplier releases them to the time they are received in the delivery stores. Delivery stores estimate the time the customer is going to receive the product. The store will provide efficient customer care services to ensure that the customers receive the products at the right time. The store ascertains that the right product is delivered to the consumer and helps the consumer demand compensation in case of damage before receiving the product. Generally, the establishment of delivery stores ensures that both sellers and buyers have trust when the supplier ships the item and when the consumer receives the product.
