Wellness Resource Assignment
Objectives:
Engage in wellness activities provided on the BW campus.
Gain information about wellness resources and how these can be used to further personal wellness goals in the six Dimensions of Wellness.
Instructions:
Earlier in the course, you completed a Dimensions of Wellness Assessment Wheel and Assignment. In it, you identified an area of your personal wellness that you wanted to improve and a possible BW Wellness Resource that you might participate in to address this aspect of your own wellness.
Upon completion of participation/use of that BW Wellness Resource activity, please complete a written reflection that addresses the following prompts:
Identify and describe the 6 dimensions of wellness.
How are the dimensions of wellness connected with your own personal health?
Discuss the BW wellness activity you attended.
Identify the wellness activity you attended along with what dimension(s) of wellness the activity aligned with. Explain and discuss using characteristics of the dimensions discussed in this class.
Why did you choose to participate in this activity (refer to your wellness dimensions assessment completed in this class)?
How does the activity relate to your personal health and wellness?
What can you do in order to continue to develop this dimension/s of wellness throughout your life?
The written reflection should be well-written and demonstrate a thoughtful approach to the connections and relationships as stated above.
Submit your written reflection in the course Blackboard site in a Word Document (do not include your name in the Word Document) using the W Core Assignment submission link.
