What is the incidence of the disorder?
What are the symptoms?
What disabilities can the disorder cause?
Is the disorder believed to be genetic?
Is the disorder more common within certain populations or circumstances?
What type of diet is recommended for someone with this disease and the rationale?
What is the mortality rate of the disorder?
Give examples of some foods you would recommend if you were to plan meals for this person for 1 full day? You should include any special cooking preparations. For example, a person who has hyperlipidemia should avoid foods high in saturated and trans fats, so people with this problem should not eat fried foods—grilled or baked is a much better choice to avoid excess fats.
