185 and share at least 3 key goals you want to accomplish this quarter and why these are your goals. Each goals should have a clear explanation (at least one to two sentences). Review the syllabus and ask yourself what activities and research do you want to engage in throughout the quarter. One of your goals should focus on who you want to interview for your informational interview later in the quarter – and this should be a specific person named (not vague such as a professor, etc).

Students undertake career development as a continuous lifelong process: learn techniques for an effective job search, such as preparing a resume and cover letter, interviewing and networking skills; and learn how to more clearly articulate their future educational and professional goals.
Learning Objectives
Students will:
Understand the eight career readiness competencies as identified by NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers); Professionalism/Work Ethic, Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Teamwork/Collaboration, Oral/Written Communication, Information Technology Application, Leadership, Career Management and Global/Intercultural Fluency
