This article talks about one aspect of the Syrian crisis which is why this war is causing problems for other countries and nations as well. It dives into Jordan government’s decision to close its borders to more than 60,000 Syrian refugees. Claiming that Jordan had done enough to help. The article talks about the financial burdens that Jordan has taking on during this crisis and how it has put its own wellbeing on the line more than any other country involved in the crisis.

This second article from the New York Times and talks about the higher ups in government and their different approaches to finding the solution to the crisis. Western powers of course warned of consequences for continuing the crisis and actions they want to see take place. As well as many other countries who shared worries that more military action and a continuation of the war will cause major problems for them. The article gives you a good eye as the how the leaders are behavior and how they may or may not be affecting change during the crisis.
