The unit covers a series of themes, which are characterised by diverse and interdisciplinary perspectives on issues that impact the fashion industry across fashion styling, fashion promotion and fashion business practices.

The unit also highlights and may inform a variety of areas that can be explored in the dissertation, particularly when it comes to the sociological interpretation of and reflection on contemporary fashion practices, and the link/s between fashion and other forms of cultural manifestation.
