This week’s assignment is to select two journal articles from the list below specifically dealing with gender non-conformity (transgender). Both articles should examine adolescent transgender views and issues from two different cultural perspectives.
Read the following two articles:
Gulli, C. (2014). Boys will be girls. Maclean’s, 127(2), 38-43.
Bradford, J., Reisner, S. L., Honnold, J. A., & Xavier, J. (2013). Experiences of transgender-related discrimination and implications for health: Results from the Virginia Transgender Health Initiative Study. American Journal of Public Health, 103(10), 1820-1829.
Then, you will evaluate both articles using valid research as a basis for your arguments (not personal views) and write a brief summary of your own views on transgender development regarding the role and the impact of the family dynamics.
