As Health and Wellness professionals, the public will be looking to you for information about vitamins, herbs, and nutritional supplements. Not only is this a huge field, but the information is constantly being updated, changed and hotly debated. There are the competing economic interests of multi-million dollar vitamin companies, the lobbying interests of the Complementary and Integrative medicine professions as well as the ecological “green” interests of sustainability for herbal farming and harvesting worldwide.
Assignment Directions:
Using the research you completed for the Unit 4 Discussion Board, create your first lecture for your health and wellness course, focusing on an aspect of vitamins, herbs, or nutritional supplements and how they can support multicultural and diverse populations. Include a PowerPoint presentation, lecture notes, and handouts for 90-minute session.
