Part 1
Select a specific passage (anywhere from 1-3 sentences) from the DeAngelis (2009) reading that you think is the most important, the most confusing, or the most controversial from that reading. You will need to do a lot of writing about the passage, so you should select a very good one. Somewhere in your response, quote the passage using the MLA style for quotations (Links to an external site. (Links to an external site.)).
Write a 400-word response to the passage. The word limit does NOT include the quote itself. In your response, you should address the following questions while using relevant class material:
1) What does the passage mean to you?
2) What was important, confusing, or controversial about the passage?
3) What does the passage contribute to your understanding about racial/ethnic disparities in health care utilization in a contemporary context?
