Part 1
Online groups affect the dynamics of group communication in many positive ways such as more flexibility, more independence, and culture diversity. To start with, being in a group virtually makes the communications between the group members so much more flexible. With some of us working different schedules, being at home parents, and other priorities it can be hard to schedule a good time for us to sit down to converse so if were not able we can send messages within the group throughout the day and night. Another thing that differs is that we have to be more independent and take initiative on our own without our professors help to keep everyone on the same page and making sure we get the work done. Lastly, because this is online members from our group can be from any part of the world adding culture diversity. Part2
Culture could possibly affect a group project because everyone does their own work at their own pace. In some cultures working on schoolwork at the beginning of the day is unlikely and vice versa. According to the All Things Talent website(2019), team members have various work styles. Some people like to get their work done early, while others like to procrastinate. Some people like to pace themselves, while others like to create a specific timeline of getting things done. Group work could be applied in the business world because in a business meeting people are mostly expected to work together. They are expected to come together with ideas and topics to expand the business. In a professional world group work applies by allowing coworkers to use tools to work together and do the best they can. In healthcare, nurses and nursing assistants are expected to work together in a nice manner to have a better benefit for the patient. They are expected to share information between each other to improve patient care.
