Be creative and change things up to suit your needs as you find the narrative you want to explore. Think about what you want your modern metaphor to represent in a modern world.
For the poetry part of this, you need to set up your poem so that it looks like Beowulf. You need to make up your own kennings, metaphors/similes, images, and alliteration. The more you can use and the more you can creatively play with the language, the better your grade will be. So that I can find them easily, please do the following for your final draft:

Imagery – Underlined
Alliteration – Red Text
In the end, you should have somewhere in the range of 65-70 lines of Anglo-Saxon poetry
