Capstone Project Phase I – Part 1
I will be creating a web application for a Christian computer store called Joe’s custom computer parts. They are located in Plano (TX) and have vendors all over the world that provide them with computer parts. My application will be a Supply Chain Management application that lets the employees enter in the computer parts they receive from vendors into the company database so that they have a list of items that are available for sale.
Functional Business Requirements:
Enter in name of the product.
Enter in the company name of the product.
Enter in the price the item will be sold for.
Add items to the database.
Delete items from the database.
Edit items in the database.
Show a list of items in the database.
Nonfunctional Business Requirements:
Add an ID to each item being added to the database.
A refresh button to see the latest in the database.
A delete all button to clear the whole database.
Visual representation to let the user know when the database is updated after an item is edited.
Company name and/or logo on top of the application.
All other parts of the phase 1 requirements can be found in the MS Project file which includes WBS, resource names, owners, time estimations, and cost management.
