– Analyze and compare the key aspects: and how the production helped understand the pay differently for BOTH of these plays
– After viewing the video adaptations of selected plays over the summer, you will analyze several key aspects. Your paper should concentrate on how the production helped you understand the play differently than just reading it alone.
– Discuss what interpretations you agreed and/or disagreed. (Feel free to mention similarities and differences, if you watched two versions of the same play.)
– The purpose of this assignment is for you to recognize whether the vision of the play you had while reading the text was met, or if watching a performance helped you to see a different way of interpreting the play. You are not writing a typical film review.
– Remember that each of us has a version of the play in our heads. The purpose of this assignment is for you to recognize whether “your version” was met, or if you saw a different way of interpreting the play. The issue is not whether the actress was good or bad, but why the particular nature of the performance affected the way you saw the play.
– In your introductory paragraph, be sure to identify the director and the title of the videos you viewed.
– You must follow MLA format. Your essay should be 500 words minimum.
