• Knowledge and understanding of a systems approach to health and social

care.

• Ability to evaluate the use of a systems approach in health and social care.

Points to consider

• Introduction. This should include group details; introduction to the case

study and presentation content

• Clear description of a systems approach to health & social care. This

should include a description of both the family systems approach and the

wider ecological system approach and the main purpose of using system

theory in health & social care

• Application of ONE of the systems approaches to the case study chosen.

The benefits and limitations of the using the theory chosen should also be

discussed

• Overall summary to the presentation: this should include a summary of the

main findings within the presentation content and case study conclusion.

• Citations included throughout with reference list at the end.

Task 2 (Standard of presentation)

As an individual deliver the presentation to a good professional standard

(10 marks)

Assessment criteria

• Knowledge of how to plan and deliver a professional presentation

• Ability to present a discussion with clarity of expression both verbally and

written.

Points to consider

• Uniformity in style of slides e.g. font, design etc.

• Creativity in slides to hold audience interest

• Logical order of presentation

• Clarity of presentation

• Confidence in presentation of information

• Keeping within time limit allocated by the group
