(4) Publish your survey and upload the public link.

Use Qualtrics to create a survey
• Use your Net ID and login to Qualtrics
• Click ‘Create a new project’
• Click ‘Survey’ then ‘Get Started.
• Write the title of your survey and click
“Create Project”

• Select the question type
• Edit the question

• Select ‘Text Entry’ for an open-ended
question.
• Select ‘Slider’ to create semantic differential scales
• Adjust the scale 1 for minimum and 5 for maximum
• Scroll down and adjust ‘Grid Lines’ to 4
• After you have published the survey, you
will have to invite people to participate in
your survey.
• Go to Canvas, click “people” on the
menu. Email everyone on the list the link
to your survey
Check your email and finish the
survey
