One of your goals should focus on who you want to interview for your informational interview later in the quarter – and this should be a specific person named (not vague such as a professor, etc).

Students undertake career development as a continuous lifelong process: learn techniques for an effective job search, such as preparing a resume and cover letter, interviewing and networking skills; and learn how to more clearly articulate their future educational and professional goals.

Understand the eight career readiness competencies as identified by NACE (National Association of Colleges and Employers); Professionalism/Work Ethic, Critical Thinking/Problem Solving, Teamwork/Collaboration, Oral/Written Communication, Information Technology Application, Leadership, Career Management and Global/Intercultural Fluency
