In this first week of class, you were tasked with reading several articles all of which address criminology (theory)
specifically. In your first paper, use your articles to answer the question, “are there gender differences in how
offenders are labeled?”
Remember: Papers should be no more than two pages in length and single-spaced. Please only use 12 point
Times New Roman font. Keep in mind that two pages single-spaced is approximately 1,000 words. Please
include a word count at the end of your paper. You should use APA standard formatting, however, there is no
need for a title page.
No matter what the topic, the papers must summarize, discuss, and critically analyze the material the student
has selected. Finally, the papers should apply concepts, terms, theories, etc
