Over the course of this (short!) semester, we have observed nature, discussed natural systems, focused on specific environmental issues, and considered various perspectives on nature and natural resources. Often, the information we learn about the environment is troubling or depressing. Focusing on solutions we can be part of can help put things in a better light! Many innovative solutions are being found daily, making a difference and helping us move in a positive direction.
Consider an environmental issue you are concerned about. Research ways that people are trying to solve the problem, and find a method, a product, an organization, or a policy that peaks your interest and sounds like a new, better way to approach the environmental problem it tries to solve.
