Write one of the body paragraphs for your first essay.
Remember, a body paragraph is not the same as the main point. You may have several paragraphs for one
main point.
The body paragraph should include
a clear topic sentence (explaining the main point of the paragraph).
explanation to make the main point clear to the reader
evidence from at least two sources to support the point
the evidence should include one direct quotation, though the quote should be short and properly integrated into
the paragraph
the evidence should include one paraphrase
both quote and paraphrase should be properly cited with an MLA in-text citation (no works cited reference is
necessary)
