6.    Motivation:  How can you spark childrens interest in your learning experience?
    What do the children already know that you can use to connect with the new information you plan to introduce?
    What information do the children have and/or information can you offer that will generate interest in the content area of study based on what you know about the individual students interests and their developmental stage?

7.    Materials:  Where in the classroom will this learning experience take place?
List all the materials will you need in the order you will be using them to carry out the learning experience.

8.    Learning Experience Steps: (Memory Card/ Build- a -story) What are the series of steps, listed in order, involved in your plan for this experience that will help the children to learn?  For example (if applicable),
1.    How will you connect with childrens existing knowledge?
2.    How will you model, demonstrate, illustrate what you expect from the children?
3.    How will you provide directions and ongoing support during the activity so that children know what to do and can remind themselves independently?
4.    What opportunities will you provide for children to try it out with your help using guided participation?
5.    How will you provide children with opportunities to try it out themselves in small groups, pairs and/or individually?

9.    Differentiation:  How will you modify this experience/lesson plan to meet the anticipated, varied learning needs of the children in your class?

10.    Assessment/Evaluation:  There are two types of assessment, formative (ongoing/in process) and summative (takes place after the learning experience).
    What formative assessments will you use to provide additional supports, adjustments or additional challenges as children may need it?
    What summative assessments will you use to know whether the children learned what you wanted them to learn? 
    How will you know what the children actually learned from the learning experienceboth intended and unintended lessons?

    Based on what you have learned from the formative and summative assessments, what are the childrens (anticipated and real) strengths and struggles?

    What does this learning experience lay the foundation for the next learning experiences?
