To sum up what needs to be included in your CW1 (1000 words) is some reflective discussion on how you conducted your research and collected your materials, how you evaluated your sources and selected the relevant and useful ones to keep and how this developed into the formulations of an essay plan; of course you will include in CW1 your essay plan itself explaining briefly on how you will go about addressing the questions at hand.
