Content-Based Minimum Requirements:
In her text The Feminine Mystique, Betty Friedan uses the term “the problem with no name” to discuss an issue plaguing women within the home.
Why do you think she identifies the crisis women were going through at the time as a “problem with no name” if we are able to identify it now?
What exactly is this problem?
What about it makes it nameless?
Can you think of a modern day “problem with no name”?
It can be related to feminism, but it certainly does not need to be. (Other ideas can be regarding motherhood, mental health, systemic social issues, etc.)
Why do you think the issue you mention seems “nameless” or goes unspoken?
Be sure to found your argument in concrete examples from Friedan’s text.
