Please assume the following: Visy operates six plants across Australia. In every plant the full
range of products is produced and then shipped to customers in the different regions of
Australia and New Zealand. The six plants operate largely independently with their own
customers and sales divisions. The Visy management wants to gain a better overview of
sales, production quantities, customer behaviour and the effectiveness of production
processes across the plants. To this end, the management wants to implement a Data
Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution.
Q1a. Draw a diagram to represent the Business Data Architecture needed to create the Data
Warehouse.
Q1b. Name two Business Intelligence tools and explain how they might be used in the
context of the above scenario

Visy has established a simple Email‐based ordering process. Use BPMN to model a diagram
for this process in swim lane layout.
Hint: Create two separate pools for Visy and the Customer and model activities in both
pools
