This is a good resource for criminal justice research. Below you are asked to practice the research process of “Identify a Research Question.”
ASSIGNMENT:
Step 1 Start: Go to the National Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) Abstracts Database: https://www.ncjrs.gov/App/AbstractDB/AbstractDBSearch.aspx (Links to an external site.). Search for articles on the topic of juvenile delinquency.
Step 2 Refining Research Questions: Generate three research questions according to what you learn from the articles.
Step 3 Evaluating Research Questions: Evaluate the research questions you generate according to the three criteria: feasibility, social importance, and scientific relevance (see textbook p. 29-31) and formulate your final research question.
Your submission should include three paragraphs: 1) three research questions you generate. 2) Your evaluation of three research questions (within 250 words). 3) Your final research question.
Please include your writing within one page, double spaced, APA format.
