Within this task you must address all four learning outcomes:

  • Demonstrate your critical understanding of the legislation, policy, theory and research evidence underpinning social work practice in relation to your chosen case scenario (LO1)
  • Critically reflect on the use of self and professional identity in relation to working with service users, particularly with reference to the chosen case scenario (LO2)
  • Examine the skills required to work with services users where there are tensions between care and control (LO3)
  • Discuss the ethical and value conflicts that can arise, with reference where appropriate to the SSSC codes of practice (LO4)

You should give a very brief summary of the case scenario to which your reflective account relates (as a guideline – 100 words max).
