H7SMM Services Marketing Management to Demonstrate

Assume the role of a Service Brand consultant and carry out primary research to provide a report to your chosen service manager.

Your Group of 4 or 5 must conduct an analysis of a service brand and its strategy.

This report must be a minimum of 2000 words and a maximum of 5000 words. The report will also provide the foundation for the CA Presentation and should be of a professional standard and concur with current college quality regulations.

You need to include the following theory as part of your assessment:

Nature of the Service
Characteristics of the Service
Branding of the Service
Strategy utilised by the firm
Recommendations to improve
Visual evidence of the service brand.

Assume the role of a consultant and carry out primary research to provide a presentation to your chosen service manager.

In groups of 4 or 5 you are required to choose, visit (online or offline) and assess a service. As this is a presentation CA you are to present your assessment in class using power‐point slides. Evidence needs to be included that you have visited or experienced the service as a group.

You need to include the following theory as part of your assessment:

Nature of the Service
Characteristics of the Service
Branding of the Service
Strategy utilised by the firm
Recommendations to improve
Please note: Theory should be applied specifically to the service to demonstrate understanding. Simply explaining theory is not sufficient.

Presentation:

The presentation is to be 10 minutes with time after for questions. All group members must contribute to the presentation. Time must be adhered to. All students are requested to attend the presentations. Do not enter or leave the room while others are presenting. Slides must be uploaded to Moodle on Monday 22nd November . A copy of the slides needs to be given to your lecturer at the start of your presentation.

Presentations will be in class on Monday 22nd November. Currently this is a class where we are meeting in person but this may change to Zoom depending on current governmental and HSE Public Health advice.
