FSHN3100 Research Methods

Question:

A critical skill for research projects is the ability to evaluate the work you are using to construct your arguments. This can be done using a set of widely recognized criteria, beyond the idiosyncratic views of the author. Assessing your research materials contains two main elements: the summary and critique. Together with a third element, advancing original interpretations, they constitute the essential building blocks of professional writing. In each annotation you should address the significance of the source for your research topic/question, and identify the research question, primary sources, and main conclusions of the source you’re evaluating. Also, you may include your personal interpretation of the source’s  value to your research. You have the option to use these sources when drafting your TNS Talk and Final Paper. The assignment should be at least 750 words. Submitted through UBLearns.
