INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINAL PROJECT
For your final project, which is worth 200 points, you will submit a presentation of the customer experience map you created for your dream vacation.
Follow the steps below to complete this assignment:
First, you will be using the Customer Journey Map Outline that your completed in PowerPoint to finish this assignment.
Make the PowerPoint revisions provided by Dr. Patty in her comments on your Week 13 Part 7 assignment. Dr. Patty’s comments are located with your Week 13 Part 7 submission in Canvas.
After the last slide, “Recommendations to Improve Our Customer Experience”, add a blank new slide. Once you’ve added the slide, title it “Presentation Handout” and insert an image of the digitized customer journey map you created in Excel last week. Only include the image from the FINAL MAP tab. Be sure to make any revisions noted by Dr. Patty with this submission. FYI – If you were presenting this PowerPoint deck to a client, you would give this graph as a handout, since it’s too detailed for a PowerPoint slide. Remember – less is more on a PowerPoint presentation.
Now it’s time time to present your findings as the Customer Experience VP. Instructions for recording sound to PowerPoint slides can be found in the video below. For simplicity, I suggest you watch the video up to the 5 minute and 46 second mark of this tutorial. You are not expected to include video of your presentation.
After you record your audio, please move the “speaker icons” to an off-screen position on your slide. Highlighting the icons, or leaving them on screen, is distracting for your audience.
Save your completed PowerPoint and submit in the assignment titled “Final Project – Submit Here”.
The Final Project is due December 7.

Touchpoints slide: Rather than using the template I provided for the three phases, feel free to give each phase its own slide. Also, this slide is extremely copy heavy and should only be bullet points and not include a paragraph about what each phase means.
For the Ideal Guest Empathy Map: Rather than using the template I provided, feel free to give each element on this slide its own slide. This means that Ideal Guest Profile, Summary of Guest Needs, Goals, Thinking/Doing and Pain Points would each have its own slide, and you can match your chosen slide design.
For the Ideal Guest Ben – Rather than squeezing all this information on one slide, feel free to give each element its own slide (similar instructions as above). Should have an actual photo of “Ben”.
