○ This essay includes crafting a self-directed research question, based on the topics covered in the course, that is answered (argued) in the essay. ( topic : THE FOOD CHILDREN EAT INFLUENCE THE WAY THEY THINK)
○ The essay should make use of academic resources, including: journal articles, public databases, and news articles.

○ Each essay will be worth 18% of the course grade.
Formatting: Written assignments should be typed 12-pt Times Roman (font size), double-spaced with
1-inch margins at the top, bottom, left, and right of every page of a standard-sized (8 1⁄2 X 11 inch) paper.
Citations: Please follow the reference guidelines of either the Modern Language Association (MLA) or the American Psychological Association (APA).
