Read a play (provided by Instructor), and write a thorough analysis by answering each of the following questions with a minimum of 1 paragraph (MINIMUM 4-5 sentences for EACH prompt). 5pts for each complete answer given.

Thematically, what is the play about? What do you think the playwright’s overall message is, and in your imagined production, what would you (as director) do to try to illuminate that message for your audience? (Also include here what you liked about the play, and why you’d want to see it performed, or why not.)
When and where does the play take place? Give as many details as possible.
Write a Character Breakdown
Describe each character in the play and include AT A MINIMUM the following information: name, age range, gender, race if it pertains to the story, given circumstances, personality characteristics.
Example: Stevie: Male, About 18, any race. Dollar store manager. Hates his job, but loves having authority over anyone—especially anyone older than him. Cranky, practical, and irritable.
Would this be a play that could be performed with undergraduate student actors? In other words, could you see this play included in the production season at USC? Explain.
What is required of the technical design of set, costumes, lighting and sound if the play is produced? Are there any other technical requirements (musicians, projections, etc.)? Write about what is REQUIRED in the script, as well as what you could IMAGINE to be part of a production—but be sure to distinguish between both.
