The purpose of my speech is to show my professor what I have learned as a student throughout the course.

My speech will be about what I learned that making thesis statement is not as easy as it sounds, and it takes effort to create three good reasons. I also learned that about myself that shouldn’t procrastinate anymore.

I learned minimum wage by reading all the sources my professor provided and by reading through the outside sources I chose.

The way I learned about minimum wage is through the final essay I had to create for my class.

I went and read through sources every week, to find the right source for me and the right evidence to choose which side of Minimum Wage I should really choose.

Second Main Point: I learned that making a thesis statement is not as easy as it sounds, and it takes effort to create 3 good reasons.
Explain how you learned it.
The way I learned how to create a thesis is to see which side has more reasons. The side that has more reasons will be the one I will choose. That way is easier to write about that side.

The way I learned how to create a thesis is by creating my Diagnostic Essay regarding the topic Minimum Wage.

I received good feedback from my professor.
I went with a tutor for help to know the format of the thesis and creating the counterargument within the thesis.

I used outside sources to create stronger reasons.

Although my professor gave us a lot of sources. I found it easier to cope with the outside sources I used.
I cited better from the outside sources because it was easier to understand the article better.
How will you use that knowledge?
Give one scenario: I will use this knowledge to always ask for help when I need it. Especially with the whole writing process and writing a college level essay.

Second scenario: I will use this knowledge to not be afraid to do more work if you can’t rely on the sources your professor provides you. Even if it’s more work for me as a student, at the end it was easier to grasp and understand the topic Minimum Wage better.

The way I learned not procrastinating anymore is to do all my assignments on time and to do my weekly assignments week by week.
